They can be used as an extended hanger - just add a pre made toy to each spoke end through the welded hex nut hole..
This toy base is sold as is, and measures 25cm/10" side to side, and 27cm/10.7" from top to bottom, and is FULLY WELDED (no parts can be removed).

"Just Wingin' It" is suitable for most medium and large species, from Alexandrine to Hyacinth Macaw.
